EZERA SKAŅAS. "I am looking at a fuzzy cloud…”

The 10th Ezera Skaņas festival will take place on Kāla Lake on the morning of August 10th.
Ezera Skaņas is a musical performance that begins before sunrise—at 4 AM—on a stage floating in the middle of Kāla Lake. People attend the event in boats, surrounded by darkness and silence, as a floating village appears on the lake and the first sounds emerge. The music evolves with the rising sunlight and culminates as the sunrise. Ezera Skaņas is a non-commercial event with a focus on artistic ideas and free creative expression. In 2024, the Ezera Skaņas program thematically explores the human mind's ability to find patterns in abstract structures.

This year Ezera Skaņas will take place over two days, with musical performances continuing on land at Festen harbour until the afternoon of August 11th. Attendees will overnight in tents in the harbour area, enjoying music, conversations, and the natural beauty of Kāla Lake. The harbour capacity is limited to 400 people.

The first 100 tickets are available at a special price, and the number of places in the harbours is strictly limited. Entrance to harbours begins on August 9th from 8 PM. The entry ticket does not include boat rental. Ezera Skaņas offers boat reservations, which can be purchased as an additional ticket. The boat rental price includes life jackets and oars. Attendees visiting from guesthouses must purchase a "guest harbour" ticket. Each attendee is responsible for their own safety and the safety of their children.
