MyRadiantU - The City of Love

It’s a brand new song and yet already heard. It is a parallel song of the previously released “Ar Kuģiem un Lidmašīnām” and which also happens to be the title songs of the band’s first studio album “The City of Love”. The song as well as the whole album is a meditation on modern metropole and the band leaders last six years spent in the Amsterdam, the heart of Holland. Metropolis is a melting pot of endless cultures and hundreds of years of history. It is a place of millions of people and their stories living and breathing together where each one of them has their own inner metropolis. It is a very tight and saturated environment, overwhelming at times to where you are pushed to a place of escape and quite, but yet it’s addictive. in short you miss it’s business and noise it’s endless interactions, small pubs and restaurants, illuminated nights and canals, never sleeping traffic and chats. And it’s the people, their lives spent working and creating that have become the peelers of the city.
